Many times when we are exposed of who we are, we immediatley think, "what will they do to me?" These questions can drive us to deny the truth to save our own skin. That's what Peter does when he is questioned three times if he was with Jesus, but he still denies Him despite the fact he knows that Jesus is God. Even though we know that Jesus has a glorious future for His people, we still let the fear of being rejected get in the way. In the end, fear is ridiculous, but it's prominent in everyones' lives. We all have fears; we just need to get over them.

Pastor Fred spoke about "The Colossal Cover Up!" From Proverbs 29:25, we allow the fear of man to be a snare in our lives. We all have a fear of being exposed and people seeing our true faults and sinful flesh. If we can trully believe as 1 John 4:18-19 says, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us." May our fear of man be changed to a proper fear of God. Stay tuned for next week.

Senior Pastor Fred finished our Ignite Message Series encompassing all the past key points of how My Story, My WorshipFull life, My Readiness and lastly My Invitation can Change the World. We learnd about the Power of the big ASK. If we don't ask others and invite them to church, disrepecting the Great Commission the Jesus commands us to do entirely; we are truly just a big BUT! We can be a people filled with But's as we are a BUTT to those around us who need to hear the Love of Christ. Many times we are not ready to speak about Christ because we don't have a prepared answer to offer. In Acts 8:26-35, Phillip evangelizes to the Ethiopean. So he is prepared to give him the Gospel. Phillip's prepared answer allows him to be ready for the Great Commission. Since Phillip is ready for the Great Commission, the Holy Spirit is able to use him, because of his submission to the Holy Spirit. However the Holy Spirit cannot fully use us if we're not ready to carry out the Great Commission, and we're not ready for the Great Commission if we're not ready to give an answer. This sunday we learned that the storms of life will come and will prove whether we can withstand the pressures of life, whether we are truly empty or full. Our ignite Principle is that our response to pressure allows us the opportunity to share our faith. As we read from Acts 16: 19-34, Paul and Silas lived a WorshipFULL life, a life that caused the jailer to ask the question, "What must I do to be saved?" So we are taking these 5 habits that God would have us to be WorshipFULL: 1) Regular Devotions, 2) Faithful Sunday Attendance, 3)Active Life Group participation, 4) Consistent Sacrifical Giving and lastly 5)Prayerful & Sincere Witnessing. The storms of life can truly be opportunities for us to share our witness and our faith, but to allow God to ingite our faith to produce in us WorshipFULL men & women for him.

Every family has expectations for how every person should interact with everyone else in the family. Just as your family has expectations, God's family had expectations too! Paul, while writing to the Galatian churches, was trying to clear away all the clutter that the false teachers had added to the believers' faith. Chapter after chapter Paul reinforces the basics of the faith as he combated the false teaching and in the end, Paul boasted about whom our lives ought to be all about! We got to hear Pastor Fred bring us this next section of our walk through Galatians. He challenged us that in order to do the good being instructed in 6:1-6,9-10, it was going to mean that we NOT make the Galatians mistake of "Walking the Law". Pastor Fred illustrated this point using his invisible dog "Law". "We don't walk the Law, the Law walks us and all it does is show where we have messed up". Pastor was adamant about us not taking the freedom of grace that we have in Christ and turning into just another version of the Old Testament Law. Instead, we ought to take that freedom and choose to Follow Jesus out of the Love we have for Him who died for our sins and provided complete forgiveness. The final challenge was for us to start at the last words Jesus spoke, "It is Finished". Here, Jesus fulfilled the Law and now wants to walk those results in those that choose to believe in Him. Jesus isn't impressed with us trying to walk the Law. However, He is in love with those that choose to walk "With Him".

We have a tendency to focus on the effects, rather than the causes, and such is often the case when it comes to how we act. Our attention can be so riveted upon the bad effects (acts of sinful nature) of our flesh as we desire to get rid of them that we never consider what caused them. In this passage Paul reveals both the causes to the effects that are our actions and how it is that the desired effects (fruit of the Spirit) come to fruition, instead of the acts of sinful nature.

At stake in the Galatian churches was the very freedom Christ died for and what that freedom enables Christians to do; this is the same today! Numerous speculations about how to get to Heaven continually press in upon the Truth of God's Word and the time is ripe for God's people to stand firm in the freedom we have and... well you'll just have to tune into this podcast to find out!

There is to be great freedom in the family of faith! There is freedom that enables people of every race, culture, or whatever distinction you want to name, to become brothers and sisters, sons and daughters of God, in the unity of our faith in Christ. Most of us are waiting for something most of the time; maybe you're waiting for a new job, for a family member to be healed, for someone to become interested in spiritual things. We discovered that true, Biblical, waiting always involves seeking (Lam. 3:25) and that Christ would have us in the time we have left on this earth confidently seek out our God through faith while we're waiting. Such Confidence in Christ only comes through Faith. (Heb. 10:19-22)

Our days are numbered, but we do not know how many we have left, just like the rich fool of Luke 12:13-21 who much to his surprise was in his final hours. The rich fool thought that he would have many years of easy living ahead of him, when all he really had was hours. Just as eternity was just around the corner for him, the same could hold true for us and that's all the more reason to Embrace Eternity. Discover how to do just that in this past Sunday's podcast.

What would you do if you had just 30 days to live? The truth is though, that we are not promised a tomorrow; eternity could be just around the corner and that alone gives all the more reason for us to "Live Like Were Dying" today. As Paul in Romans 13:11-12 speaks with a sense of urgency about the oncoming of eternity, urging the Romans to live right, we learned that we need to live with a sense of urgency about the oncoming of our eternity and in so doing, focus ourselves not upon what will endure into eternity, but rather upon who.
